Former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland revealed that she “tortured” herself for a decade about being in Beyoncé’s shadow.

The 58-year-old singer, who is a founding member of the R&B girl group, shared on the Australian version of The Voice, giving advice to a contestant who was insecure about being compared with his brother who was a past winner on Australian Idol and The X Factor.

The (now) host told the contestant, Chris, “I know this feeling. Can you imagine what it’s like being in a group with Beyoncé?”

She added, “I would just torture myself in my head … Like, I can’t wear this dress because they’re going to say it’s like [Beyoncé].”
