Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are expecting a second child together via surrogate.

Khloé Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson are ready to welcome their second child together via surrogate.

Kardashian’s representatives said, “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”

The baby, who will be due in August 2022, will be the second child for Khloé Kardashian, 38. She and her now ex-boyfriend Thompson, an NBA player, are also parents to daughter True, 4. Although the couple is welcoming a child, they are not back together and have not spoken since December other than co-parenting matters.

The sources also revealed that their baby was conceived via surrogate before the news of 31-year-old Thompson having a baby with another woman became public.

“Khloé and Tristan already had the baby in the works when the scandal hit. By then, Khloé was like, ‘I’m going to be doing it by myself,'” an insider shared. Another source further revealed that the reality star had chatted to friends about wanting to have another child before Christmas.

Kardashian and Thompson have been in a tumultuous relationship since they began to date in late 2016. He was even caught cheating just days before The Good American co-founder welcomed True in 2018 and later also with Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordan Woods in 2019.

Although the couple got back together, the Chicago Bull's center-forward affair with fitness model Maralee Nichols was the last straw for the reality star. Although Thompson denied fathering a child with Nichols,  the scandal unfolded with a paternity test proving that Theo is his son.

“What the f–k. Oh, my God. This cannot be happening,” Khloé had expressed when the early 2022 cheating scandal surfaced. 

Kim Kardashian later said in the episode, “The whole thing that is so sad is that [Khloé] wanted a baby boy. And now this girl is having f–king baby boy. A f–king random that he slept with one night? F–k him. I was so team him.”

Thompson also has a son named Prince, 5 with his ex Jordan Craig.
