Julie Ertz, who was born on April 6, 1992, is a midfielder for the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women's Soccer League and a FIFA Women's World Cup champion. Her husband Zach Ertz is a tight end for Philadelphia Eagles.

Here is more on the Super Bowl-winning NFL star and the World Cup-winning soccer player including how they met, their love, and marriage.
First Meeting and wedding
Julie Ertz, who was born Julie Beth Johnston met Zach Ertz while attending a Stanford Cardinal baseball game. They soon began dating and in February 2016 Zach Ertz proposed to her at the same baseball stadium where they met.
Julie had announced their engagement on Instagram with a pic and caption, “He took me to the first place we met and I said YES! I get to spend forever with my best friend. The best day of my life!”
Zach too had shared his proposal to Julie on Instagram with a caption, “She said yes!! My best friend made this the best day of my life! #MrsErtz”
The couple married on 26 March 2017 and the newlyweds could not seem happier.
For Better and Worse
There is no doubt that the couple supports each other 100%. In June 2019 Julie Ertz shared a snap of them in an embrace with the caption, “My number 1 fan. The amount of sacrifices to get here makes it all worth it to share moments like this. Not done yet. We go again.”
And when USWNT including Julie were criticized for their celebrations and accused of running up the score in a 13-0 rout against Thailand, Zach was there to weigh in. According to Delaware Online, Zach had shared his thoughts,
“I’ve got a lot of thoughts on that. First of all, the first tiebreaker in the World Cup for the group stage is the goal differential. So it would be a crime for them to take the foot off the gas and then finish second in the group. Second, the best way to build team chemistry, and I think you guys saw that a couple years ago with us (during the Super Bowl season), was the way we celebrated with one another. And when you’re executing like that, and executing at a high level, the whole team gets excited. The whole team gets involved. And it’s really the best way to build chemistry because you see people so happy for another person’s success.”
