Michelle Williams, Thomas Kail pregnant with second child- third for Williams

Michelle Williams is going to be a mother again!

She actress told Variety in an interview on Tuesday, “It’s totally joyous.” She also added that the baby is due in the fall.

The 41-year-old mom-to-be is also a mother-to-son Hart, born in 2020, with now-husband- director Thomas Kail, 44. Her first child is 16-year-old Matilda from her relationship with late actor Heath Ledger.

Speaking of her growing family, the Fosse/Verdon star shared, “As the years go on, you sort of wonder what they might hold for you or not hold for you. It’s exciting to discover that something you want again and again is available one more time. That good fortune is not lost on me or my family.”

Having given birth to son Hart during the COVID-19 lockdown, Michelle Williams explained, “It was a reminder that life goes on. The world we brought a baby into is not the world we thought we were bringing a baby into, but the baby is ignorant of that. He experiences the unmitigated joy of discovery and the happiness of a loving home.”

Williams and Kail were first linked in December 2019 and just a month later she debuted her baby bump at the Golden Globes. The couple married in secret in March 2020.

Previously, Williams was married to Phil Elverum from 2018 to 2019, and Kail was married to Angela Christian, also an actress, until 2019.
