Mike Trout and wife Jessica Tara Trout welcomes son Beckham

Los Angeles Angels player Mike Trout is a father!

On Saturday, Mike Trout and his wife Jessica Tara Trout announced the birth of their first child. Their son Beckham Aaron was born on Thursday, July 30.

Trout took to social media to write, “Our greatest gift from above • we are so in love!” followed by the introduction of his son,

“Meet our sweet boy, Beckham Aaron Trout. July 30, 2020 • 5:10pm • 7lb 10oz • 20.75in”

The baby shares the middle name with Jessica’s late brother, Aaron Cox, who died in 2018.

The baseball player, 28 has been married to Jessica since 2017. The couple confirmed their pregnancy in March with a gender reveal video online.

“I don’t even know where to begin….,” Trout had shared his happiness, “From seeing your heartbeat for the first time to seeing you dance around in mommy’s belly… we are truly blessed and this is only the beginning!! Little man, you have the best mommy already and I can’t wait to be your dad! We are so humbled by this gift God has given us. We love you already, buddy!!”
