Ne-Yo, 41, and Crystal Renay Smith, 34 are parents to two sons together- Shaffer, 4, and Roman, 2. The singer also has two children with his ex-partner Monyetta Shaw.

Ne-Yo, whose birth name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, also introduced his newborn on social media alongside a short video clip. “LADIES N’ GENTS. Introducing the newest member of the Smith Clan ISABELLA ROSE SMITH. Welcome to the world lil’ mama. And know that I got you thru when, where, and whatever. Now and forever,” he captioned, “You got 3 big brothers and a big sister that all love you and got your back too.”

The couple announced their pregnancy in February 2021.

Last February, they had split in with Smith revealing that she had discovered their separation from tabloids. Ne-Yo had said they had split after four years of marriage because their “demons don’t mesh.” However, the couple apparently worked out their differences while quarantining together.

“The whole quarantine thing was kind of a blessing,” said Ne-Yo in June 2020. “Before the quarantine happened, we were definitely talking divorce. And the quarantine kind of forced us to sit still, block out the noise from the world, you know the world can get very, very loud, and we tend to let the world’s opinion mean more in certain situations than it should.”

“We’re actually stronger now than we were before,” he added.
