Normal People's Daisy Edgar-Jones reveals her struggle to process fame

Actress Daisy Edgar-Jones of the BBC series Normal People fame revealed that it's been 'strange' for her to experience her new level of fame while at home during the lockdown.

The 22-year-old who plays Marianne Sheridan shared with Dermot O'Leary on Radio 2 show about the success of the series and admitted it's hard to process it all.

“It has been strange experiencing it all from my bedroom. I haven’t been able to really kind of process the fact that I can see articles online talking about me, it feels a bit like a simulated video game on my phone. It’s very surreal."

The actress who is currently dating actor Tom Varey also has a famous father. Her Scottish father Philip Edgar-Jones is one of the founders of the reality TV show Big Brother and is the current Director of Sky Arts and Head of Entertainment at Sky.
