The new dad, 27, posted a picture on Twitter of the newborn holding his heavily tattooed index as he holds her arm with his hands. “Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful. To try to put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task,” he continued, “The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together.”

Gigi Hadid too shared the good news on her social media page. “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love.” she wrote alongside a picture of her cradling her daughter.

The news hit headlines five months after reports suggested Hadid was 20 weeks pregnant. Mom Yolanda Hadid also confirmed her September due date with snaps cradling the baby bump.

Fans had first began speculating that Gigi had given birth after her younger sister, Bella, 23 posted a dedicated message on social media, “June 11, 2020 … two buns in the oven except mine is from my burger and Gigi's is from @zayn I love you both so freaking much – can’t stop crying.”

After Mohamed Hadid, Gigi's father posted a poem to his grandchild on Instagram, fans were led to believe that Malik and Gigi’s baby had arrived. “I wish for you the sun & moon, I wish for you a happy time. Know that grandpa’s always here, I’ll do anything, anything for you, my dear,” he had written.

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid had begun dating in 2015, only to separate after three years. However, the couple was reported to have reconciled after they were spotted together in December 2019. Since then they have quarantined at a Pennsylvania farm Malik allegedly bought on the advice of Yolanda.
