Early Days

Childers began her professional career as an actress in 2000 with a minor role in the TV series L.A. 7. and in films Carolina (2003), Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003).

In 2006 Ambyr Childers landed her breakthrough role as Colby Chandler in the series All My Children. She was a series regular until 2008, with 139 episode appearances.

Since her breakout role, Ambyr Childers has starred as a recurring character in the TV series Ray Donovan (2013-2016) as Ashley Rucker, Aquarius (2015) as Susan Atkins/Sadie, and You (2018) as Candace Stone. 

In season 1 of You, Childers had been cast in a recurring role while in season 2 of the series, she became one of the main cast of the series.

In films, Ambyr Childers has had supporting roles in Love (2011), Playback (2012), Gangster Squad (2013), 2 Guns (2013), and Vice (2015) and lent her voice in Pinocchio (2018).
