Jenna Ortega is an actress by profession and American by nationality. She is well known for starring in Disney Channel’s Stuck in the Middle as Harley Diaz, as young Jane in Jane the Virgin, and as Ellie Alves in You.

Jenna Ortega’s birth took place on September 27, 2002, in Coachella Valley, California, USA. She was born Jenna Marie Ortega to her mother Natalie Ortega while the name of her father has not been revealed to the public. 

She is not the only child of her parents and has 5 siblings, among which she is the fourth child. Her sisters are named Aaliyah Ortega, Mariah Ortega, and Mia Ortega, and her brother Isaac Ortega, Markus Ortega.

Jenna Ortega became passionate about acting at the age of 6. She began auditioning for roles by the age of 8 and eventually began making appearances on TV and in films. 

Her first roles were in the TV episode(s) of the series Rob (2012), CSI: NY (2012), and in the films Iron Man 3 (2013), and Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013). Ortega soon was cast as a recurring character in the series Rake (2014), and Jane the Virgin (2014-2019). Finally, in 2015 she landed the main role of Darcy in the sitcom series Richie Rich.
