Early Career

Sadie Sink was obsessed with recreating Disney’s High School Musical with her brother Mitchell. So her mother sent her to acting classes in a community theater when she was seven years old.

At the age of 11, Sink was cast in Broadway’s 2012 revival of Annie as Duffy. A year later landed a role in an episode of The Americans. This led her to appear in the TV series Blue Bloods (2014), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2016), and 11 episodes of American Odyssey (2015).

Breakthrough

Finally, in 2017 Sadie Sink landed her breakthrough role in Netflix’s Stranger Things. She landed the role of Maxine "Max" Mayfield, a main character in the series. Moreover, she has also starred in films The Bleeder (2016), Chuck (2016), The Glass Castle (2017), and Eli (2019), among others.

Sadie Sink has also portrayed Young Queen Elizabeth II in the theater production The Audience.
