Ashley Estes Kavanaugh is an American public official and former political aide and has been married since 2004 to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Ashley Estes Kavanaugh was born on November 4, 1974, in Abilene, Texas, USA. She was born Ashley Jean Estes to mother Nancy Estes and father John Estes. However, detailed info about her parents and siblings is yet to uncover.

As regards her education, she attended Abilene Cooper High School and graduated from the same in 1993. Kavanaugh went on to study at the University of Texas at Austin in 1993, graduating in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.

Ashley Estes Kavanaugh is a married woman. She married Brett Kavanaugh, current Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the USA. The couple had met when both were working in the White House and started dating on September 10, 2001.

They tied the knot in 2004. The wedding ceremony was held in Georgetown, Washington, D.C., and was attended by former US President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush.

The couple has two children together- daughter Liza Kavanaugh and Margaret Kavanaugh.

Ashley Estes Kavanaugh – Career

Ashley Estes Kavanaugh has had an astounding career span. In 1996, she started to serve as an assistant to George W. Bush, who was then serving as Governor of Texas. Kavanaugh kept the position till 1999. She reprised the position once again in 2000 when George W. Bush ran the presidential campaign.

After Bush became president of the United States in January 2001, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh immediately occupied the position of Personal Secretary to the President all the way through 2004.

With her lifelong commitment to Bush, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh again worked as Director of Special Projects at the George W. Bush Presidential Foundation. She held the position from the years 2005 to 2009. After retiring from the position of Director, Kavanaugh served as Media Relations Coordinator at the George W. Bush Presidential Center for more than a year from 2009 to 2010.

Currently, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh works as town manager of the village of Chevy Chase Section Five, Maryland, starting in 2016.

Ashley Estes Kavanaugh and her husband were the subjects of controversy in September 2018 when two women accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault.

Christine Blasey Ford claimed that he had sexually assaulted her both were students at high school while Deborah Ramirez accused him of thrusting his genitals in her face while both were undergraduates at Yale, without consent.

Along with defense from the accusations by his wife, Melania Trump, and Hillary Clinton also joined in to defend the accused. Speaking of her husband, Ashley Kavanaugh said,

“I know Brett. I’ve known him for 17 years. He’s decent, he’s kind, he’s good. I know his heart. This is not consistent with Brett.”
