Who is Cara Gosselin?

Cara Gosselin is a reality TV star by profession and American by nationality. She is well known for starring in the reality TV series Jon & Kate Plus 8 alongside her parents Kate Gosselin, and Jon Gosselin, and her fraternal twin Madelyn Gosselin and sextuplet siblings.

Cara Gosselin – Bio, Age, Parents, Siblings

Cara Gosselin’s birth took place on October 8, 2000, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA. She was born as Cara Nicole Gosselin to father Jon Gosselin and mother Kate Gosselin. 

She is not the only child of her parents and has 7 siblings including a fraternal twin sister named Madelyn Gosselin. She is six minutes older than her twin and both were five weeks premature.

Her other siblings are younger sextuplets- brothers Aaden Jonathan Gosselin, Collin Thomas Gosselin, and Joel Kevin Gosselin, and sisters Alexis Faith Gosselin, Hannah Joy Gosselin, and Leah Hope Gosselin.

Education, Ethnicity

Cara Gosselin and her twin sister graduated from Lancaster Day School in May 2019 and joined two different colleges in New York City. 

Her ethnicity includes German, English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Korean, French, and Canadian.

Cara Gosselin – Boyfriend, Relationship

Cara Gosselin and her siblings grew up in front of the camera. However, over the years she has maintained her romantic life and relationships away from the public. She is yet to share details about her former boyfriends.

Cara Gosselin – Career

After Cara Gosselin’s sextuplet siblings were born, the family was cast in the NBC reality TV show Home Delivery. In 2005 the family was cast in Discovery Health’s Surviving Sextuplets and Twins and just a year later, they were featured in Sextuplets and Twins: One Year Later. 

The show was a success and gained millions of viewers and was granted new opportunities. The Gosselin family went on to star in Discovery Health’s Jon & Kate Plus 8, which began airing in 2007. However, following her parents’ messy divorce in 2009, the reality show did not seem viable anymore and was canceled the same year after two seasons.

However, after 3 years of hiatus, Kate Plus 8 returned. It featured her mother Kate and her siblings in their daily life. The first episode aired on January 13, 2015, on TLC while the last episode for season 6 aired in 2017. 

In mid-2019, following Cara Gosselin’s graduation and admission to college, TLC announced that they will be hosting a College Bound special on Kate Plus 8 while Kate Plus Date aired on TLC in 2019.

Cara Gosselin – Family, Relationship

Over the years Cara Gosselin has had a strained relationship with her father. Moreover, two of her sextuplet siblings- Hannah and Collin live with their father while the rest of her siblings live with their mother. This has caused limited contact with her two siblings.

However, in mid-2020 Collin made shocking allegations against his father calling him a "liar". He also alleged that his father physically abused him.
