Suzie Ketcham is a reality Tv star by profession and American by nationality. She is best known for starring in the VH1 series Basketball Wives and as the ex-girlfriend of NBA center Michael Olowokandi.

Suzie Ketcham’s birth took place on 20 February 1978 in Summit, New Jersey, USA. She was born to an American father and a Chinese-Portuguese mother. After the family moved back to the USA when she was four years old, her parents divorced. She has four siblings- two older brothers, one younger brother, and one younger sister.

For education, she attended Pepperdine University. Her ethnicity includes Chinese, Portuguese, and Caucasian.

Suzie Ketcham got into a relationship with NBA star Michael Olowokandi at the age of 19. She and her boyfriend dated for ten years but never actually married, hence never divorced. They separated in 2009.

She was in her senior year at the college when she got pregnant with the couple’s first child. The couple has two children together, and both the identities of their children are kept under wraps. 

In a 2010 interview with Essence, she said, “I met my ex when I was pretty young and he was always very much about me and our home and our privacy. I think when you’re so young you don’t really know yourself yet so what you think that what’s his is also yours. And for a while, you’ll do anything to protect that until it gets to a point where you’re like, ‘Wow, wait a minute, why am I living my life this way?’”

Since 2013 Ketcham has stayed off the spotlight, raising their two children and making her entire life private. It is known if she found new love, married and took a husband, or is a single mother.

Suzie Ketcham – Career

Ketcham rose to fame after getting into a relationship with NBA star Michael Olowokandi at the age of 19. In 2010 she was cast in the VH1 reality TV series Basketball Wives, which follows the wives, ex-wives, and girlfriends of professional basketball players.

She also had an appearance in Big Morning Buzz Live (2011). After Basketball Wives ended in 2013 Suzie Ketcham transitioned into real estate as a career. For her work, she lived in Hong Kong, L.A., before settling down in Miami.

When Basketball Wives was revived in 2017, executive producer Shaunie O'Neal did try to get her back on the show but Suzie Ketcham did not accept the offer.
