Dak Prescott is a football player by profession and American by nationality. He is currently a football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL).

Dak Prescott’s birth took place on July 29, 1993, in Sulphur, Louisiana, USA. He was born Rayne Dakota Prescott to his mother Peggy Prescott and his father Nathaniel Prescott. His mother passed away from colon cancer in 2013.
He is not the only child of his parents and has two siblings – older brothers Tad Prescott and Jace Prescott. From his father’s first marriage, he has two older half-siblings Natalie Prescott Smith (older half-sister), and Elliott Prescott (older half-brother).

Dak Prescott was redshirted during his freshman year in 2011. In 2012 he played in 12 games as a backup to Tyler Russell. After Russell suffered a concussion in the 2013 season, Prescott took over as the starter.
