Who is Kaitlynn Carter?

Kaitlynn Carter is a reality TV star, social media influencer, entrepreneur by profession, and American by nationality. She is also well known for starring in The Hills: New Beginnings alongside her now ex-partner Brody Jenner.

Kaitlynn Carter’s birth took place on September 4, 1988, in New Hampshire, United States. She was born Kaitlynn Elizabeth Carter to her mother Michelle Carter and her father Mark Carter.

She is not the only child of her parents and has three siblings- sister Lindsey Reis, and brothers Doug Carter and Gregory Carter. All were raised in Peterborough, New Hampshire.

For education, Kaitlynn Carter attended ConVal Regional High School. She went on to study at the University of New Hampshire, from where she graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in English.

Kaitlynn Carter began dating reality star and DJ Brody Jenner, son of Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner and Linda Thompson. Her boyfriend Jenner is known to have dated Lauren Conrad, Avril Lavigne, and his sister-in-law, Leah Jenner.

The couple had met back in 2013 at a party and had an immediate connection. After years of dating, Brody Jenner proposed to her during a romantic getaway on Sumba island, off the coast of Indonesia, in May 2016. 

The couple traveled back to their special place in June 2018 for an intimate wedding. They had tied the knot in front of 50 family and friends but Jenner’s father did not attend the wedding. 

However just a year later, Kaitlynn Carter and her husband split. A major factor for their split is said to be because she wanted children but he did not. TMZ reported that the pair had never followed up to get a marriage license and they never had a legal union. 

She briefly dated Miley Cyrus, who split from her husband Liam Hemsworth in August 2019. Before Jenner, Kaitlynn Carter dated comedian and Rules of Engagement star David Spade.

Carter went on to date Kristopher Brock who works as a stylist. She and her boyfriend announced they were starting a family in June 2021 and welcomed their son Rowan in October 2021. In October 2022, the couple announced they were pregnant with their second child together.

Before Kaitlynn Carter began to date Jenner, she was an aspiring model. She was one of the finalists in the 2010 Maxim’s Hometown Hotties Competition. However, she did not choose to further her modeling career and instead chose to fashion entrepreneur. 

Carter is a fashion blogger and entrepreneur. On her blog sites KaitlynnCarter.com and Western Wild, she shares her views on fashion, beauty, love, and travel, which she launched in 2014.

She is also a co-founder of the site Foray, a shopping site, and started Foray Collective in November 2015 along with a long-time friend, Tiana Haraguchi.

Due to her impressive fashion sense, Kaitlynn Carter has collaborated with many leading brands, including La Mer, UGG Australia, Billabong, Marciano, Dove, Rachel Zoe, and Christian Louboutin.

With Jenner, she made her reality television debut in the first season of The Hills: New Beginnings, which premiered in June 2019.
