Early Days

At the start, to support her acting career, she had many odd jobs. She has worked as a ringside girl at a boxing match, waitress, and perfume spray girl at Bloomingdale's.

Finneran began her professional career in 1990. Her debut role was in the episode of the TV series Super Force and an appearance in the film Night of the Living Dead. This was followed by roles in the TV series Frasier (1999), Bram & Alice (2002), Wonderfalls (2004), The Inside (2005-2006), and the films You've Got Mail (1998), Bewitched (2005), Broken Bridges (2006), etc.
