O'Malley’s first work was in the dubbing of Ciarrai Ni Mhaille in the English version of Gall Force: Eternal Story (1986). She resumed her career a decade later as she voiced Jade in the animated television spinoff Sky Dancers. Her debut screen appearance was in a 1997 episode of the TV series NYPD Blue.

This was followed by minor roles in the 1998 film Rounders and in the episode(s) of the TV series Brooklyn South (1997), Costello (1998), Law & Order (1996-1999), The Mike O'Malley Show (1999), etc.
