Sean Gunn is an American actor best known for starring in Gilmore Girls as Kirk Gleason and in MCU films Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers, and Thor as Kraglin Obfonteri. He is one of the famous Gunn brothers, the others being James Gunn, Matt Gunn, and Brian Gunn.

Gunn were both lawyers and were partners and corporate attorneys of the law firm Thompson Cobur. He is the youngest child of his parents and has five older siblings. His brothers are filmmaker James Gunn, screenwriter Brian Gunn, Patrick Gunn, actor and political writer Matt Gunn, and sister Beth Gunn, who is an employment attorney.

After working in several commercials, Gunn’s debut screen role was as Sammy Capulet in the 1996 film Tromeo and Juliet. This was followed by minor appearances in the films Pearl Harbor (2001), The Specials (2000), and in the TV series Any Day Now (1999), Angel (1999-2000), Brutally Normal (2000), etc.
Finally, in the year 2000, Sean Gunn was cast as the recurring character Kirk Gleason in the comedy-drama TV series Gilmore Girls. He portrayed the role for a total of 137 episodes, from 2000 to 2007. This is considered his breakthrough role.
