Feds raid Diddy’s LA, Miami homes amid sex trafficking investigation
Diddy homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by Homeland Security on March 25 amid an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
Federal law enforcement agents were seen arriving at the rapper’s lavish Holmby Hills neighborhood of LA and in Miami with their guns drawn.
TMZ also released a video where Homeland Security was seen swarming Sean “Diddy” Combs’ California home while multiple helicopters hovered from above.
According to the outlet, several people were seen pictured being questioned outside the rapper’s home. Two men, believed to be Diddy’s sons Justin and King Combs were in handcuffs.
However, the names of those arrested have yet to be officially revealed while Diddy’s current whereabouts and status are to be cleared.
Representatives for Homeland Security Investigations told TMZ at the time, “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available.”
The raid on the property comes amid numerous lawsuits being filed against Diddy – including accusations of assault and human trafficking.
In November 2023, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura was first to accuse him of rape, abuse, and forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes as he watched. The case was swiftly settled out of court - just a day after filing - as he dodged a trial to address the allegations.
In response to the raid, Ventura’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor released a statement, “We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.”
American singer Aubrey O'Day had previously criticized the justice system amid the Diddy-Cassie lawsuit settlement. Over the years she had accused Diddy of making unwanted sexual advances and being involved in shady business practices.
Just weeks after settling the case with Cassie, he was charged with three other lawsuits from women claiming sexual assault by him.
One woman claimed that in the early 1990s, she and a friend of hers were raped by Diddy and singer Aaron Hall.
Another woman accused Diddy of gang raping her in 2003 when he was 34 and she was 17 years old.
Last month, in February, he was sued by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a former male employee, of sexual assault while he was working on the 2023 album The Love Album: Off the Grid.
Jones, who is a producer and videographer, claimed the abuse occurred repeatedly from September 2022 to November 2023. He also alleged that his former employer forced him to perform inappropriate acts with sex workers – with claims that he once woke up in bed with his boss – all drugged up.
Meanwhile, Diddy’s attorney Shawn Holley said that “Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar” and is seeking to secure the $30 million lawsuit.
The 54-year-old has denied all allegations.
