‘Home Improvement’ actor Zachery Ty Bryan busted for choking girlfriend

Zachery Ty Bryan, the actor well known for playing Tim Allen’s oldest son on the hit sitcom Home Improvement has been arrested and is in an Oregon jail. According to TMZ, he allegedly choked his girlfriend.

Bryan, 39, who played teenaged Brad Taylor in the hit ABC sitcom, was arrested late Friday in Eugene.

His girlfriend alleged that the actor had squeezed her throat with his hands during an argument in an apartment in the town, police reported.

Cops were called to the apartment by neighbors. The arriving officers found Bryan sitting outside while the girlfriend was hiding at a friend’s apartment nearby. She also claimed that Bryan attempted to stop the woman from calling 911 by grabbing her phone.

Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested without incident and is facing charges of strangulation, fourth-degree assault, and interfering with making a report, the outlet reported.
