Actor Josh Duhamel has revealed that he has needed to visit the emergency room for a second time due to a gruesome back injury. This is the second time since his wedding to his model wife Audra Mari.

While in an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 49-year-old shared, “The next morning, after the wedding, [I] couldn’t get out of bed again.”

He also recollected his wife’s nervousness saying, “‘Oh my God. Everything is fine here. This is, like, the first day of my marriage, and I’m wheeling my husband around in a wheelchair.'”

“I’m already way older than she is. It wasn’t a great start, but I was like, ‘Babe, for better or worse.'” he added.

Duhamel and Mari have 21 year age gap with his new wife being 28 years old.

The Lost Husband star had to be taken to hospital just hours before walking down the aisle in September after he “couldn’t get out of bed.”

The TV host had shared with Vogue Australia that her new husband hurt his back after “pulling some wild dance moves” on a party bus the night before their wedding.

“They have those handles that you hold on in the party bus — I tried to do this thing like a gymnast, like, straighten myself out. So, I felt fine. I got through that night, and I wake up the next morning, two hours before the wedding, and I couldn’t get out of bed. I literally couldn’t stand up,” the Transformers actor described the dance style which put him on the hospital bed.

Despite the pain, the groom did go through the ceremony, which took place in North Dakota, with the help of Toradol, an anti-inflammatory drug that functions by reducing hormones responsible for causing pain in the body.

This is the first marriage for Mari while Duhamel shares a 9-year-old son Axl with singer Fergie, who he was married to from 2017 to 2019.
