Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Welcome a Baby Girl, Capri Kobe
Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant have welcomed their fourth child together and this time they have named their daughter after Kobe himself.
The couple took to Instagram on 21 June to announce the birth of their daughter Capri Kobe Bryant on 20 June 2019. Their newborn, already nicknamed Koko, will join older sisters Natalia, 16, Gianna, 13 and Bianka, 2, in the family.
Kobe wrote to Instagram “We are beyond excited that our baby girl “Koko” has arrived!!”
The husband-wife, who have been married since 2001, had announced that they were expecting a baby on New Year’s Day. NBA player Kobe Bryant told Extra back in March that Vanessa had been hoping for a boy,
“I think she wants a boy more than I do. I love having girls — I’m super, super excited about that. She is as well. She wanted a boy so he can be mama’s boy forever — that sort of thing. We'll see if I can deliver, I don’t know.
She's like, 'You go see if you can hit a clutch shot, you gave me all girls, let's see if you can bring a boy!' Nope, not yet, we’ll see, we’ll see.”
Will the Bryants continue their quest for a boy? Well, the couple is happy with their daughters and far from disappointed.
