Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott ready to legally change son’s name to Aire
Parents Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have finally decided to change the name of their son after welcoming their boy over a year ago.
The couple who has been dating on-again, off-again have reportedly filed documents to legally change the name of Wolfe Jacques Webster to Aire Webster.
TMZ reported that the rapper and beauty mogul “regret the initial name choice” and now they “have had the chance to spend time with their baby, they believe the name Aire Webster is a better fit.”
The outlet also revealed that Jenner and Scott have signed off on the official request and are currently waiting for the courts to finalize the name change.
A month after the baby was born, the 25-year-old reality star and 31-year-old rapper announced in March 2022 that they are changing the newborn’s name. They also added that they are still playing the name game with their baby boy.
Jenner, the youngest sister of the Kardashian clan, wrote on her Instagram story, “FYI OUR SONS NAME ISN’T WOLF ANYMORE. WE JUST REALLY DIDN’T FEEL LIKE IT WAS HIM.”
Only in January 2023, the parents shared what they were naming him – alongside the first picture of the infant.
The new mama went on to clarify the confusion surrounding the pronunciation of Aire – regarding the “e” at the end – pronounced the same way as the element.
Although “Aire” means “Lion of God” in Hebrew, fans quickly pointed out that it is also Arabic slang for “penis.”
Moreover, another TikToker joked that Jenner must have taken inspiration from the animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”
Jenner and Scott are also parents to their daughter Stormi, 5. The couple had begun dating in 2017 after her split from Tyga.
