Donald Cerrone is a mixed martial artist, former professional kickboxer, boxer by profession, and American by nationality. He is signed into the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and competes in the lightweight division.

Donald Cerrone’s birth took place on March 29, 1983, in Denver, Colorado, USA. He was born Donald Anthony Cerrone.
His mother and father soon divorced and he lived with his grandparents. Cerrone is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling- a younger sister. From his father's following relationship, he has two half-siblings, a younger half-brother named Nic and a half-sister.

Donald Cerrone – Girlfriend, Wife, Children, Divorce
Cerrone is currently engaged to his longtime girlfriend Lindsay Sheffield in 2014. He and his fiancée welcomed their child, son Dacson Danger Cerrone on June 29, 2018. They welcomed their second son Riot River Cerrone on September 11, 2020. The couple eventually married, although their wedding date is unknown.
He and his wife currently reside in Edgewood, New Mexico, and are living without rumors of extra-marital affairs or divorce.

Early Career
He began his professional career as a bull rider while still in high school. At the age of 20, he began training in kickboxing and moved on to learn Muay Thai. He competed in kickboxing competitions and won. Cerrone soon began a career in mixed martial arts (MMA).

Before Donald Cerrone’s debut game in MMA, he trained for several with numerous trainers. His grandfather even hired Carlos Carvalho, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt to train him when it was shared that his opponent had a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu
He began his professional career in MMA in 2002 after he signed with World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC). He won his first game against Kenneth Alexander in the WEC but was changed to a no-contest when Donald Cerrone tested positive for hydrochlorothiazide, a banned diuretic medication.
WEC, UFC
He fought in WEC from 2008 to 2010. When WEC merged with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Donald Cerrone too transferred to the UFC. He moved to welterweight in 2016 and returned to lightweight in 2019.
In MMA he has played in 49 games with 36 wins and 12 losses. In Kickboxing Cerrone won a total of 29 games with 28 wins and 1 draw.
