Ariana Madix sues ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval: wants to sell shared Los Angeles home

Ariana Madix has sued her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval to force the sale of their shared Los Angeles home.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, she filed the complaint in the Los Angeles Superior Court. The reality TV star has requested a “partition by sale.”

The court can order the sale of the property.

Madix, 38, and Sandoval, 40, still live in the shared Los Angeles house they bought together.

The Vanderpump Rules star specified that she wanted to sell the house and split the proceeds. She does not want a “division in kind” i.e. each party will split ownership of the house.

Madix could still sell her share of the house. The catch is that she would have to find someone who is interested in co-owing the house with Sandoval.

The situation can be salvaged if he could also sell his share to a third party.

The former couple, who dated for 10 years, bought the property for $2 million in 2019.

During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in December 2023, she expressed her desire to move out of their home.

She told host Andy Cohen, 55, at the time, “I’m working on the situation with the ownership of the house. I would love for that to be resolved quickly, so if Joel Weiner [real estate lawyer] could really get back to my lawyer, that’d be great.”

The Dancing with the Stars contestant also shared that she wants to sell the house while her ex-boyfriend Sandoval does not.

The lawsuit comes nearly a year after Sandoval’s unfaithfulness was made public.

Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval began dating in 2014 after he and Kristen Doute broke up the same year. Doute had accused Sandoval of cheating on her with Madix, which he initially denied.

Tom Sandoval, 40, and Ariana Madix, 37, were in a nine-year relationship from 2014 to 2023. His months-long dalliance with the former pageant queen Raquel Leviss, 28, was discovered by Madix after she saw an explicit video of Leviss on her former boyfriend’s phone.

Soon after the news of the affair broke in March 2023, Leviss checked herself into a mental health facility for long-term treatment while Sandoval took a luxe getaway to the wellness resort Miraval Arizona.

In September 2023, it was reported that Tom Sandoval struggled to sell concert tickets amid ‘Scandoval’ - despite a 2-for-1 ticket deal offer.

Since then Madix seems to have moved on with her new personal trainer boyfriend Daniel Wai.
