Khloé Kardashian has been handed a lawsuit by her former household assistant. The former aide has claimed that he was fired by the reality TV star after taking a leave of absence following a leg injury.

Matthew Manhard began working for the Good American co-founder in 2019.

According to the lawsuit, he was allegedly let go from his work in November 2022. He has claimed that he had told the 38-year-old Keeping with the Kardashians that he was unable to work due to his injury which he had sustained in May 2022. But after he returned to work six months later, his work had been terminated.

Although Kardashian’s reps have denied the allegations, Manhard alleged that he was not paid overtime on his 12-hour shifts. He is also seeking monetary compensation.

The lawsuit also claims that a former assistant working for Khloé Kardashian was unable to take his legal breaks because he was so busy with his day-to-day duties.

She told TMZ, “It’s unfortunate to learn that a former employee would choose to go this route. Matthew was properly classified and compensated for his role. Toward the end of his employment, he was on a leave of absence for an extended period of time and the role eventually needed to be replaced. We will not tolerate false accusations and will prove that this is a frivolous lawsuit.”

Kim Kardashian also faced a similar lawsuit in 2021. Several former members of the gardening and maintenance staff accused the SKIMS founder, accused Kim of a variety of shady boss-type behavior.

According to the 2021 lawsuit, the claims included late pay, and overtime pay, being forced to work without meal breaks, withholding 10% of their wages for taxes and not forwarding those sums to the government.
