The Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the Nickelodeon star was found in their jurisdiction “unharmed” at around 11:30 a.m. local time. They also added that they “took action” to ensure the former child star received a “mental health evaluation.”

On April 13, 2023, Daytona Beach police informed via Facebook that Bell was missing and “endangered.” The authorities had also added that he was last seen just before 9 p.m. a day prior near Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Just 24 hours before he was reported missing, the 36-year-old was seen at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida with his toddler son. In the pictures obtained by TMZ, he and his son appeared well-dressed and not distressed.

However, it is unclear why the actor was near the high school where cops said Bell was last seen which is more than an hour away from SeaWorld Orlando. The police also failed to inform if his son was also with him when reported missing.

Bell and his estranged wife Janet Von Schmeling married in 2018 and share a son. It was also reported previously that the former couple is going through a separation.

Von Schmeling is allegedly seeking divorce amid Bell’s substance abuse issues which took place in front of their son in late 2022.

Last year in December, Bell was pictured inhaling balloons while his toddler was in the back seat of the car.

He was charged with child endangerment and disseminating matters harmful to juveniles to which he pleaded guilty in 2021 and was on a two-year probation.

This is not the first time he has had run-ins with the law.

He was charged with a DUI in 2015 while in 2017 he was accused of sending “inappropriate social media messages” to a girl who attended his Cleveland concert.
