Teen Mom alum Ryan Edwards has been arrested for allegedly harassing his wife, Mackenzie Edwards.

The legal action occurred after Edwards took to Instagram on Thursday to bash his wife and even went to post a revealing picture of Mackenzie.

He had written about his wife in the caption, “If you guys have never seen a spineless s**t this is one. They take your money sleep with anything that looks at them. But they must have a wife to [sic]. God what a joke. It’s sad really.”

The 26-year-old Mackenzie reportedly went to the police on Friday morning and reported that her husband had posted “revealing photos of her to his Instagram account.”

The officer revealed, “The photographs did not show nudity, but were revealing.”

Mackenzie also accused Ryan of trying to contact her father to pass along a message to her stating that he will be picking up his belongings from their home – which was a violation of the protective order given on Thursday.

The couple married in 2017 and share two biological children- Jagger and Stella.

According to Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, the 35-year-old reality star was also charged with possession of drugs and a controlled substance- drug paraphernalia and two bags of suspected narcotics.

Ryan Edwards was taken into custody while he was at work.

Back in 2009, Ryan rose to fame when he starred in 16 & Pregnant alongside his then-girlfriend Maci Bookout. The show featured the journey of the parents-to-be, who were both young teens, as they raised their son Bentley.

However, the reality star has since had a series of substance abuse issues and run-ins with the law.

He was arrested in March 2018 for violating his probation on a heroin-related charge while Bookout filed for and obtained a restraining order against him shortly after.

Edwards's life took a downhill after he was arrested again in July 2018 for possession of heroin and was fired in 2021 from Teen Mom OG.
