Ashley Olsen is a former actress turned fashion designer, producer, and businesswoman.

Ashley Olsen was born on June 13, 1986, in Sherman Oaks, California, U.S.A. Her full name/birth name is Ashley Fuller Olsen and she was born to parents Jarnette Jones, a personal manager, and David Olsen, a real estate developer, and mortgage banker. 

She was raised along with her twin sister Mary-Kate Olsen, an older brother Trent Olsen and a younger sister Elizabeth Olsen who is also an actress. She is two minutes older and an inch taller than her twin sister. Their parents divorced in 1996. Through her father’s second marriage to McKenzie, Ashley Olsen has two step-siblings namely Courtney Taylor Olsen and Jake Olsen.

Ashley Olsen attended Campbell Hall School located in Los Angeles. She along with her twin, who are collectively known as The Olsen Twins, enrolled at New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study in 2004.

Her ethnicity includes Norwegian, French, German, Italian, and Danish.

Ashley Olsen – Boyfriend, Husband, Children, Divorce

Ashley Olsen was in a relationship with her former boyfriend Matt Kaplan. They were high school sweethearts and had begun dating in 2001. After 3 years, they split in May 2004. 

From 2004 to June 2005, she dated American restaurateur Scott Sartiano followed by CEO of Tsubi jeans Greg Chait from 2005-2007, and Lance Armstrong for a few months in 2007.

She then went on to date actor Justin Bartha in May 2008. This relationship too, after three years of dating, crumbled. They finally broke up in March 2011. Ashley Olsen has also had affairs with David Schulte from 2013-2014, film director Bennett Miller (2014-2015), and George Condo (2016).

Ashley Olsen is rumored to be dating art dealer Richard Sachs since 2016. The rumors began when the two were spotted in December 2016 on a vacation to St. Barts, which were later confirmed. But the couple broke up only after 5 months. Currently, she is dating Louis Eisner, an artist.

On December 28, 2022, Olsen and Eisner married. They welcomed their first child, a son, in August 2023.

Ashley Olsen – Career

As actress

Ashley Olsen was only 9 months old when she was cast as Michelle Tanner in the sitcom Full House (1987–1995). This role she shared with her sister from 1987 to 1995. 

The other cast members were Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Andrea Barber, Lori Loughlin, etc. The sitcom was a huge success and the Olsen Twins were the “breakout actors” among the entire cast.

Apart from that, she has starred in To Grandmother's House We Go (1992), Double, Double, Toil and Trouble (1993), How the West Was Fun (1994), It Takes Two (1995), Billboard Dad (1998), Two of a Kind (1998–1999),  Passport to Paris (1999).

Films, Series

Since the 2000s, Ashley Olsen has portrayed characters in Our Lips Are Sealed (2000), Winning London (2001), Holiday in the Sun (2001), So Little Time (2001–2002), Getting There(2002), When in Rome (2002), The Challenge (2003), Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003), New York Minute (2004), The Jerk Theory (2009), I'm Still Here (2010).

In 2007, the sisters announced that the two would no more work together in a movie, but would only work together in a movie if they worked as producers. And In 2012, the Olsen Twins announced that the two would retire as actresses and would rather focus more on their fashion careers.

In 2015, it was confirmed that Full House would have a spin-off series titled Fuller House. But the Olsen Twins did not reprise their roles as Michelle Tanner, the youngest daughter of their on-screen dad, Bob Saget.

Fashion, business

In 1993, the sisters founded a production company, Dualstar Entertainment Group. The company produced movies and videos of the girls. And in 2004, after their 18^th birthday,  Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen took control of the company, making themselves Co-presidents and co-CEO.

Collaborating with her sister, Olsen has opened fashion brands- The Row,  Elizabeth and James, Olsenboye, and StyleMint. They also have a beauty line called Mary-Kate and Ashley: Real Fashion for Real Girls, Elizabeth and James perfume, etc.

The Twins has worked with numerous brands to design ready-to-wear, resort, handbags, sunglasses, and shoes. They also have co-authored the book Influence, which was published in 2008. Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen are famous for their philanthropic work and have donated money to "Pennies From Heaven".
