Conan Stevens is an actor, writer, stuntman, and former professional wrestler by profession and Australian by nationality. He is also known for his towering height, which is 7 ft (2.1 m)!

Conan Stevens’ birth took place on 14 October 1975 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. He was born Mark Stevens. Conan Stevens – Career

Having served in the Australian army, Conan Stevens was already a professional wrestler (also called improv stunt theatre) before he took a shot at acting. Back then he worked with camp UK comedian Julian Cleary on his stage show and toured Australia with him.

For nine years Stevens wrestled obtaining the title-Tag Team Champion, and Australian Heavyweight Champion three times. But because of a nerve injury (Guillain-Barre syndrome), his promising wrestling career was jeopardized. So, Conan Stevens opened a laptop repair and business IT support center, working there for several years until his body healed.

Before fame

Following the slow recovery of his body, Conan Stevens moved to Thailand to work as a stuntman. There he starred in several movies including Powerkids, Muay Thai Giant, and the French movie L'Ile Au(x) Tresors. Stevens also co-wrote Bangkok Adrenaline (2009). He worked in Thai movies for 7 years before seeking international attention.

Film, Series

Stevens also starred in SE Asian and East Asian cinema including two Indian movies Drona and Chandni Chowk To China. In 2011, he was cast as "The Mountain" Gregor Clegane in two episodes of Game of Thrones followed by roles in The Hobbit trilogy, as Thor in the 2013 film Vikingdom.

He has acted in films including Skin Trade (2015), Blood Hunters: Rise of the Hybrids (2018) and the series Spartacus: Vengeance (2012), Encantadia (2016-2017), and Victor Magtanggol (2018).

Co-stars

On Game of Thrones, he has starred alongside Pedro Pascal, Amrita Acharia, Peter Dinklage, Esmé Bianco, and Julian Glover, to name a few.
