Kealia Ohai is a soccer player by profession and American by nationality. She is currently a Midfielder for Houston Dash and had played with the United States women's national soccer team (NWSL).

Kealia Ohai’s birth took place on January 31, 1992, in Draper, Utah, USA. She was born as Kealia Mae Ohai to father Ben Ohai and mother Cindy Ohai.
She is not the only child of her parents and has a sibling, older sister Megan Cushing, a former youth national team member. Cushing is married to American footballer Brian Cushing.

For education, Kealia Ohai attended Alta High School, graduating in June 2010. She then enrolled at the University of North Carolina. Her ethnicity includes Caucasian and Hawaiian.

Ohai secretly started dating American football defensive end J.J. Watt after her brother-in-law Brian Cushing introduced each other. She and her boyfriend confirmed their relationship in October 2016, after almost a year of dating.
On May 27, 2019, both confirmed via social media that they were engaged to be married. The couple tied the knot on February 15, 2020. Moreover, in October 2022, she announced via Instagram that she was pregnant with her first child.

Kealia Ohai – Career
High school, College games
Kealia Ohai was a four-year varsity soccer player at the school and had led the team to four straight state soccer championships from 2006-2009. She also played with Utah Avalanche, a soccer club, and has won state titles.
Over a four-year span, she earned the titles Gatorade state player of the year two times, first-team high school All-America three times, All-State selection three times, 5A soccer MVP three times, 2010 NSCAA National High School Player of the Year and Parade All-American honors.
At the University of North Carolina, Kealia Ohai played with North Carolina Tar Heels from 2010 to 2013. In her sophomore year, she played in all 20 games and scored six goals.
And in her third year, she led the team in points (23) and goals (9).

Professional career
In the 2014 NWSL College Draft, Kealia Ohai was selected by Houston Dash as the second overall pick as the expansion team's very first college draft pick. By the mid-2016 season, she has chosen as Houston Dash’s captain.
In the 2016 season, she scored 11 goals in 10 games and was named NWSL Player of the Week for weeks 15 and 17, 2016 NWSL Best XI.
In 2017, Kealia Ohai was able to score two goals in 10 games but an injury forced her to miss the remainder of the 2017 season. In the 2018 season, Ohai returned to play 19 games, scoring 5 goals.

International career
Kealia Ohai has played with under-15, under-17, under-18, under-20, and under-23 teams and is a member of the 2012 US U-20 Women's National Team. She won the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, scoring the winning goal against Germany.
