Who is Oscar Nunez?

Oscar Nunez is a Cuban-born actor and is best known for starring in the TV series The Office.

Oscar Nunez was born on November 18, 1958, in Colón, Cuba as Oscar Eduardo Nuñez. His mother worked as a dentist, his father worked as a lawyer and they actually were classmates at the University of Havana. There are no facts about his siblings, parents, or his childhood days.

Growing up, his family moved a lot. From Cuba, the Nunez family moved to Venezuela, then to Boston when Oscar Nunez was 2 years old. When Oscar Nunez was only 4 years old, they moved to Union City, New Jersey. He is bilingual- and fluently speaks Spanish and English.

Oscar Nunez attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, Parsons School of Design, and Magna Institute of Dental Technology, earning a certified dental technician at the latter.

His ethnicity is Cuban.

Oscar Nunez – Girlfriend, Wife, Children, Divorce

Oscar Nunez was first married to a woman named Carla. But he had not yet revealed her full name, their marriage date, and why/ when they got divorced. We do believe that he did not have any children out of this marriage.

Nunez began a relationship with actress Ursula Whittaker. After dating for several years, he got engaged to his girlfriend on December 17, 2011. About four months later, they tied the knot on May 21, 2011.

A year later, on October 4, 2012, he and his wife were blessed with a daughter named August Luce Nunez.

As of 2019, Nunez and Whittaker are happily married, and very much in love and there are no rumors of divorce or extra-marital affairs.

Early Career

After completing college, Nunez decided to pursue a career in Comedy, starting in New York. He had performed over 300 shows in The Shock of the Funny theater company.

 In the mid-1990s, Oscar Nunez moved to Los Angeles and there he joined The Groundlings. He performed in their Sunday Company while also writing. Nunez was the writer as well as the star of the production titled Smooth Down There.

Over the years he has appeared in Match Game (a game show; 1998),  The Man Show,  Malcolm in the Middle, 24, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Reno 911!, The District, Mad TV, The Office, Comedy Central series Halfway Home (also an executive producer and creator).

Since then Nunez has starred in The Italian Job, Reno 911!: Miami, When Do We Eat?, The Proposal (2009), Prosecuting Casey Anthony (2012),  Benched (2014), TBS’s People of Earth (2016), Baywatch, The  33.
