Zab Judah is a boxer by profession and American by nationality. He has held IBF, WBO junior welterweight, IBF junior welterweight, undisputed welterweight, and the lineal champion (2005-2006) titles.

Zab Judah’s birth took place on October 27, 1977, in Brownsville, Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. He was born as Zabdiel Judah to father Yoel Judah, a former boxer, and mother Katherine Judah.
He is not the only child of his parents and has 11 siblings- nine brothers and two sisters. Five of his brothers are boxers, three of them being Daniel Judah, Joseph Judah, and Josiah Judah.

Judah dated Hencha Voigt but the couple is known to have broken up. He went on to start a relationship with Christina and married his girlfriend. The couple has not shared any news of divorce and extra-marital affairs.
He is a father to seven known children – four daughters Mimi (born 2002), Amissia (born 2002), Zabirah, Destiny, and three sons Zab, twins Preston, and Princeton.

Zab Judah – Career
Amateur
Zab Judah began boxing at the age of six and was mostly trained by his father. His amateur record is 110–5 and was a two-time US national champion and three-time New York Golden Gloves Champion, 1996 PAL National Champion.
Professional
Judah’s professional debut was on September 20, 1996, in Miami, Florida at the age of 18. In the Light Welterweight, he won the titles of USBA Light Welterweight and Interim IBF Light Welterweight.
On May 14, 2005, he won the Undisputed Welterweight champion and Light middleweight on November 17, 2007. In the following years, Zab Judah played in the welterweight in 2008, and in the light welterweight in 2010 and 2013. He then took a hiatus for over 3 years and returned in January 2017.

In July 2006 Judah was arrested on the charges of involvement in a fight at Stereo nightclub in New York. He has also been charged with Domestic Violence in 2016 and jailed in 2017 for failing to pay child support.
Two robbery attempts also have been made on him by former drug dealers and the gangs were linked to rapper Fabolous.
Zab Judah has lent out his helping hand at an adult day care facility treating patients with dementia. He is also a volunteer at a nursing school where he teaches a nursing assistant class.
